A life with more to feel.
The question behind LINGER, and an invitation to explore it with us.
What makes an experience worth making room for? It sounds like a question about where to go. For LINGER, it opens a much bigger conversation about how we want to live.
There are experiences we anticipate for months. Others happen because someone says, ‘Come along.’ Some become stories we tell for years. Some are simply a very good use of a Saturday.
Room for the whole experience
LINGER begins with curiosity about all of it: the anticipation, the awkward arrival, the moment you find your people, the thing that surprises you, and the journey home. We want to understand what an experience feels like from inside it.
That means making room for more than beautiful photographs. We want the practical details and the uncomfortable bits. What did participation involve? Could you enjoy it on your own? Who might have had a completely different time?
A shared exploration
Libbie and Shannon are bringing their backgrounds in live events and understanding people to an exploration of human connection. The intention is to participate, listen, ask better questions and share what they learn.
We want to hear from the people creating experiences as well as those choosing them. A thoughtful organiser’s decision and a participant’s small observation may reveal different parts of the same story.
What stays
We will also return to people after the excitement has settled. What do they remember? Have they kept in touch? Was it worth it? ‘I had a wonderful time’ is a perfectly good answer. A life does not need to change for an experience to matter.
This is the beginning of LINGER. A place to be curious about people, to find reasons to participate and to make a little more room for life.
